POEM OF THE DAY - "Last Words"

This poem is another one from my last book. It is so pertinent because from experience, I see so many blessed people always talking about what they have, what they're going to get, who gave them what, etc., but so few of them saying, what God has blessed them with. I cannot say that I am not guilty myself at one point or another and am certainly not throwing stones from a glass house, but such is reality and life. This is for your entertainment and written to provoke thought.

Last Words

Oh Lord, catch them if they fall.
Oh Lord, push them if they stall.
Oh Lord, hear them if they call.
Oh Lord, bless them with their all
and forgive them if they give you nothing in return.

Hi Mr.
Once again this is your sister. I was wondering when you were going to put something new up on your blog. It was sweet, and of a deep subject matter. It is true, we have all been found guilty of this. As we are human. Not perfect in any way. As we grow and learn to realize that it is not our jobs, friends, or families that help us pay our bills, take care of our kids, cook our meals. Its God who has lead them to do so. It's God who has helped you to still have a job. We need to learn to be thankful, truly thankful for all we have. Not just say, "Thank you Jesus" because, because. We need to really mean it. I have my kids say Thank you Jesus every day on the way to school for waking me up this morning. We take so much for granted. If we were to stop and really think what life would really be like without Gods mercy, and forgiveness. What a world it would be. Just ponder that thought for a moment. No mercy and no forgivness, even just for a day. Half the world would be gone in one day. Really think about it.

P.S. I love you. I forgot to say that. Just one more thing we take for granted. Love, and letting the people in our lives know we love them. We think they should know we love them. I herd someone say "You can tell whats in a mans heart by his actions". Try it you just might like it.
