Movie Review - "Knowing"

Well, if the price of a movie ticket at $9.50 and the cost of popcorn and a soda at $11.50, doesn't keep me from a theater for the next year, having a love affair with the bootleg man will. Anyway, I decided to go to the theater this weekend to see the latest Apocalyptic thriller, "Knowing" staring Nicolas Cage. Overall, I'd have to say that it was a very good movie. I give the special effects and A+ because they were some of the best I've seen. The movie, loosely based on prophecy (none biblical or related to 12/21/2012) , was dark and very disturbing if you really believe the earth is in a current vulnerable position to be annihilated very soon and may cause you to lose a few hours sleep after seeing it. I will not give the movie away but the end really threw me one of those curves that you didn't see coming. Considering this an "A" film and because of all it's hype, I did expect to see some better acting from the rest of the movies co-stars. Predictable at times, may pull a tear or two and good enough to keep me awake at 1:00a.m. I do highly recommend it.
